Insurance and other financial services are Sputnik Group’s strategic areas of investment.

Boris Jordan is the founder and president of the Sputnik Group. He is Chairman of the board of directors of Renaissance Insurance since 1999. Since 2006, he is also President of the company and is in charge of its current business operations.

Prior to founding the Sputnik Group, Mr. Jordan was the founder and President of Renaissance Capital Group, one of Russia's leading investment bank to date. From 1992 to 1995, he was the Managing Director of the CS First Boston investment bank.
